LG.Philips Displays roadshows wow Brazil

LG.Philips Displays recently held two product roadshows in Brazil, unveiling our latest CRT products and strengthening customer relations in a very important growth market. A two-day exhibition kicked off in Sao Paulo on August 3-4, and moved to Manaus on August 10-11.

Both events were a huge success. Top management of TV set makers in Brazil and Argentina attended the Sao Paulo show, while factory managers of TV set manufacturers visited the exhibition in Manaus. About 70 guests visited the shows where they come from different departmental areas including R&D, Purchasing, Sales, Logistics and Management of Philips, LG Electronics, Panasonic, Sanyo, Toshiba, Cineral, Gradiente and Philco, among others.

Excellent products
Among the latest products showcased in the exhibitions were the 29”RF Akoca, 25”RF and 32”WSRF Tint, 32”WSRF SuperSlim and 21”WSRF SuperSlim. SuperSlim proved to be the star product, generating much interest and positive remarks from the guests. The 21”RF SuperSlim, in particular, is expected to be a breakthrough product in Brazil and Argentina, judging from the attention it drew from customers.

Following the two roadshows, the LG.Philips Displays team is now holding follow-through discussions with our customers. Several TV set makers, particularly from Brazil, are now talking about design-in programs with our staff.
