LG.Philips Displays stages private show at CES 2006

With an aim to further boost LG.Philips Displays’ innovative CRT products in the global market, LG.Philips Displays staged a private product roadshow for global key customers in Las Vegas from January 5–8, 2006.

The show, parallel with the world famous CES Show 2006, also sought to raise LG.Philips Displays’ product awareness, establish design-ins and increase our global CPT sales, as well as to benchmark customers' interests in 17” CDT SuperSlim. Continuing to foster strong “relationship building” with customers is also one of the key objectives.

Held at the Hotel Embassy Suites Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, LG.Philips Displays private show featured a number of excellent products including:

- The cost innovative CPTs: 21”RF, 29”RF, 32”RF and 34”RF, all with Akoca mask

- A series of SuperSlim products: 21”RF SuperSlim, 28”WSRF SuperSlim”, 29”RF SuperSlim and 32” RF SuperSlim

- Prototype of 17” SuperSlim CDT, the first of its kind in the marketplace

During the four-day event, over 40 guests visited LG.Philips Dispalys’ exhibition venue including key customers from 13 companies, such as LG Electronics, Skyworth, Konka, Orion, DAEWOO, Gradiente Brasil, Evadin Brasil, Diamond Electronics Mexico, Panasonic, Semp Toshiba and Neotec. They were joined in by competitors, media and suppliers.

Customers gave their outstanding impression and supportive feedback to the show, notably the improvement on the tubes' picture quality compared to the samples demonstrated in last year’s CES show.
