SuperSlim makes a splash in Japan roadshow
LG.Philips Displays garnered much interest from our Japanese customers when it launched a roadshow in Osaka, Yokohama and Tokyo recently to introduce the first “working sample” of our 32”WSRF SuperSlim.
The enormous client response to our new product has convinced our team that with adjustments to suit the particular needs of customers, 32”WSRF SuperSlim will make a big splash in the CPT market in Japan.
Not since the launching of latest other flat display technologies, such an impact was made on the market by our product.
Customers’ feedback
But it was the 32”WSRF SuperSlim that made a dramatic impact on our Japanese clients. At JVC Yokohama, Mr. Takashi Miyazaki, general manager, Engineering Department, AV & Multimedia Company, and Mr. Eiichi Tsuchiya, BoM member and president, AV & Multimedia Company, agreed that SuperSlim is an excellent product that should evaluated for their CPT design-in decisions.
As the excitement over the 32”WSRF SuperSlim continues long after the roadshow has concluded, our technical staff are now busy developing the second development sample, which will be demonstrated to prospective clients in due course.
Among 32”WSRF SuperSlim, other products on exhibit are 29”Akoca, 21”SuperSlim and 34”RF. Japanese TV set makers foresee the market opportunities for each of the above product at various regions in the world.
The roadshow is indeed an important breakthrough in LG.Philips Displays’ efforts to push the SuperSlim series because from Japan, the product will find its way into the various plants of Japanese set makers across the world. |
